Why train to teach mindfulness?
Why train at MHI?

Led by seasoned instructors, these courses offer personalized attention through small class sizes and are made accessible and affordable through an online platform and tuition assistance.
Training to teach mindfulness offers unparalleled value for those seeking to deepen their mindfulness practice and share its benefits with others. The training is rigorous and includes how to model the principles of mindfulness, a review of the scientific literature, and a focus on the specific competencies required to teach mindfulness.
How much mindfulness experience do I need to take a teacher-training course?
Generally, a meditation practice and the completion of a prior mindfulness course are required. For example, the Mindfulness for Life course is a prerequisite to train to teach said course. For details about all of our teacher training courses, please review the individual course pages.
